Six Daughters attended the state conference in Little Rock.  The National Librarian General gave us a behind the scene talk on the DAR library.  We were also blessed with a talk by a Korean Vet.

The Daughters headed out today for another adventure.  One of the most intact segments of the Trail of Tears is located at the Village Creek State Park just outside Wynne.

Polly Conway Daughters met at the State Capital for Run for the Fallen.  Over the weekend, runners run from Ozark to Little Rock, stopping every mile to honor the 155 fallen Arkansas soldiers.  We lined the flag line and passed out programs.

Pioneer Village

The chapter took a Polly Adventure to the Pioneer Village in Searcy!  Pioneer village is a collection of 19th century buildings, farm equipment and even a train depot.  The White County Historical Society has worked hard to preserve this historically rich time.
