Who is Today’s DAR?

Welcome To the Polly Conway Chapter, NSDAR

We are one of 3,000 chapters in the United States and internationally of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Our chapter was founded in 2021 in Beebe, Arkansas, and is dedicated to promoting the objectives of patriotism, education, and historic preservation. We are committed to using our talents for service. We work online and offline to preserve history, educate the public, and display our love of this country. There are so many projects to choose from so we know whatever skills you bring, we have something for you. Our dedication shows in everything we do!

Member Testimonials

“I love the DAR for bringing me together with other women who have the same passions. I have a true sense of community participating in my chapter. We have fun getting together to plan our next service project! Though not everyone benefited from the freedom, I am honoring my third great grandfathers who helped start this new country.”

“I love history and researching family.  Combining the two is a bonus. I also love being able to honor veterans for their service in many different ways. I am one in a million!”

“My sister and I joined together. My two daughters-in-law were able to join through their families. It is fun to work side by side with them to honor our ancestors. I love that I am preserving our history for future generations.  I enjoy getting together for the meetings and programs while planning our next service activity. I am Today’s DAR.”

“When I joined DAR and started attending meetings, it was so lovely being with ladies that had the same interest I have.  They didn’t mind if we talked for long periods about hunting for a particular ancestor and how exciting it was when the ancestor was found.  They found it quite interesting since they did the same thing.  Anywhere I go, I know I can find a DAR chapter and immediately be welcomed and have instant friends.  This was familiar and comforting for I knew I had found MY PEOPLE.”

Wreaths Across America

REMEMBER the Fallen…HONOR those who Serve…TEACH our children the value of Freedom

On December 16, 2023, Polly Conway Chapter, NSDAR, will be helping Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Thank you so much for supporting the Polly Conway Chapter, NSDAR, and Wreaths Across America!
