Our Chapter Story

In the spring of 2021, a small group of women contemplated the need for a new chapter; a chapter that could fill a void in Beebe and the surrounding county of Lonoke, Arkansas. Rallied by supportive DAR leaders, the chapter was officially approved on July 5, 2021, as the Polly Conway Chapter, NSDAR. On July 9, 2021, the Polly Conway Chapter, NSDAR, met officially for the first time. The meeting concluded with the officers being officially sworn in by the chapter regent of the Frederick Van Patten Chapter, NSDAR, in Searcy, Arkansas.

We are all direct descendants of American Revolutionary War Patriots and all share a love of our country. We have women of all different ages with different backgrounds, talents, and experiences.  We work together to provide service to the local communities.  Some of the projects we have completed recently include educating elementary students about the pledge, working a local festival to provide reminders to pray for our military, and laying wreaths on veterans graves.

We meet on the second Saturday of the month at various locations in the Beebe/Lonoke County area. After the meeting, we enjoy lunch together at a nearby restaurant.
